See Our Programs Live in Our Theater

The Chicago Radio Theater has been developed to be presented before a live theater audience. If you are in Chicago, we encourage you to plan an evening around our shows. We are making arrangements for a package price that includes dinner for two and two reserved seat tickets. Our theater address and location will be posted soon.

Our programs will start at 7:00PM and run for two hours. You must be in your theater seat by 6:45PM promptly. There is no break or intermission, but there are commercial breaks. And no, you cannot bring popcorn or soda into the theater. Bottled water will be available for sale in the lobby.

No one will be admitted, even if they have a paid ticket, after the night's program starts. The show is fed live by satellite from the Mississippi River eastward, and is heard by digital delay to the Western half of the United States from 8:00PM to 10:00PM in the appropriate time zones.

Our nightly programs will also be streamed to Chicago Radio Theater members who pay a modest annual subscription fee. All streamed programs include live commercials, just like the Golden Days of radio. Members can also download MP3 versions of the programs for their own personal use. The programs are protected by copyright. Please do not distribute them through file sharing programs. Membership information will be posted at a later date.

Every member of our theater audience will receive a free set of stereo headphones as a souvenir. They plug into a jack in the theater seat so the audience member can enjoy the same sound that the home audience enjoys.
